Ryder Cup Tournament

Members, friends and guests of ACGC who sign up to participate in the Ryder Cup Tournament are split into two teams of equal ability.

Ryder Cup

Every year, the two teams compete againt each other in an 18 hole tournament for bragging rights. 9 holes are played in the ‘best ball’ format and the remaining 9 holes are played ‘4 ball format’. The winning team is determined by the combined results of all the members of the team who are in different play groups.

ACGC Fedex Tournament

The ACGC Fedex Tournament is a season-round tournament designed to encourage our members to play more and work hard to improve on their abilities and scores.

FedEx Cup

Fedex golf rounds are held most weekends at designated golf courses and participating members acrue or lose points based on their scores for the rounds relative to the known average reference score from the previous season for each player.

The ACGC Open Championship Tournament is our main event held towards the end of the season.

Single Match Play

The Two Person Team Match Play event is an ongoing single-elimination tournament in which two teams play match play (best ball net, aka Four Ball Match Play), during each round. The winning team advances to the next round. All players must be active members of the ACGC.
